Next Wave Tour kicks off in Amsterdam

WoodWing kicked off its Next Wave Tour in Amsterdam this week, starting a series of approximately 20 international events in 2012. Visiting places like Seoul, New York, Munich, Tokyo, and São Paulo, the Next Wave Tour focuses on the next step in the evolution of the tablet publishing market: the time when publishers make serious decisions about systems for tablet publishing, focusing on issues like efficiency and monetization.

The Next Wave Tour: Amsterdam was a free, afternoon-only program that drew a crowd of 120 people and characterized the format for the rest of the tour stops: local, free-of-charge events that can be attended without consuming an entire day and featured speakers from local customers, Adobe, and WoodWing. The Amsterdam stop was sponsored by PubliQare, a WoodWing Gold Reseller based in the Netherlands and featured a customer case study by Staci van Schagen from Online & Business Technology at WPG Uitgevers. Also on the agenda was a review of the state of publishing by WoodWing CEO Hans Jansen, a demonstration of the WoodWing system by WoodWing Evangelist Victor Cardoso, a demonstration by Paul Van Keeken, EMEA Marketing Manager from Adobe, and a session on HTML Store Customizations by Pieter van Helvoirt, media consultant for PubliQare.
