Meredith taps WoodWing for multi-channel publishing needs
To position its major brands for continued growth in new digital channels, Meredith implemented WoodWing’s publishing system and digital publishing tools last year. This laid the foundation for multi-channel publishing for their leading brands, including Better Homes and Gardens, Fitness and Parents. Following implementation of the new system, Meredith is now continuing with workflow re-engineering to further align with their multi-channel publishing strategies. Betty Wong, Editor in Chief of Fitness, will share her experiences at the WoodWing Xperience, taking place in Amsterdam on March 27-28.
With the decision to implement WoodWing´s Enterprise system, Meredith set the stage to produce a number of its well-known titles such as Better Homes and Gardens, Parents and Fitness in a powerful and scalable multi-channel publishing environment. Leveraging the workflow benefits of WoodWing Enterprise, Meredith continues to refine its workflows to align with new business strategies and growth areas.
WoodWing´s Enterprise system, which encompasses the content management application Content Station as the all-in-one multi-channel publishing dashboard, enables the same highly regarded editorial and design teams at Meredith to create both the print and digital editions in parallel, using content shared and managed in Content Station.
