You can decide whether you want a combined text frame for the caption and credit, or whether you want one or two individual frames. Also style, position and orientation can be set with just a few mouse-clicks. If required, prefix and suffix can be added.

Easy Updating of caption and credit

If the image description changes after the image has been placed on your page, you can update the caption and credit text quickly, using InDesign's context-menu of the graphics frame.

Adding caption and credit text frames

When an existing graphics frame has no Smart Image text frames attached to it yet, you can perform this action afterward by using InDesign's context-menu.

Detaching caption and credit frames

You can also detach the text frames from the graphics frame when desired. In this example a combined text frame for caption and credit has been used.
