What’s new in Enterprise 8? Annotations, enhanced planning, a new core architecture, and much more. Enterprise continues to be the world’s most innovative publishing system. We keep pushing ourselves to bring you the latest technology and features, enabling you to stay ahead of the competition.

Annotations
Annotations are the next generation of Sticky Notes. Write a note on a layout, reply to it, and even change its status to indicate progress. Previous versions of layouts contain the older annotations as well, showing a clear trail of communication.
A new architecture
Enterprise 8 has been re-engineered to streamline communication between the server and client applications. This means faster file transfers, and easier handling of extremely large files. The introduction of background server jobs in Enterprise Server helps you speed up production.
Scripting
Enterprise Server’s scripting possibilities have been extended to offer complete control over the WoodWing Digital Publishing Tools. Hotspots, widgets, scrollable areas and more - they can all be placed automatically in your digital publication. All that’s left to do is check the results, and add your final touch.
Enhanced planning
Enterprise 8's new Planning application lets you group issues by date, edit properties inline, and create hyperlinks, tasks and articles within the main user interface. It's like a remote control for the newsroom, letting editors fine-tune every aspect of the content planning phase.

Additional object types
Archive files and presentations often follow their own route within an organization. In Enterprise 8, these files are now treated as distinct object types, enabling you to set specific access rights, and define an even more granular workflow.
CS6 Support
Enterprise 8 supports Adobe's latest tools to create, edit, and design your print and digital editions. With support for liquid and alternate layouts, Enterprise takes full advantage of the possibilities offered.
