Big Ass Solutions is the world's largest manufacturer of high-volume low-speed fans – more than 250,000 have been sold in more than 125 countries across the world. Another mainstay of the company is industrial, commercial, and exterior lightning. Big Ass Solutions has won over 200 company awards for its products. Headquartered in Lexington, KY (United States), the company runs six international offices and employs 1,000 people.

Challenges
The company spent thousands of dollars on photography and creative work which often got lost or siloed on individual workstations. There was no central location for marketing content, which had to be saved in seven different locations. As a result, the sales teams often worked with outdated content, so customers received inaccurate information – and often the teams used content not approved. Collaboration between departments was a challenge – files were emailed back and forth, resulting in confusion about the status of files.
Evaluation
Based on the requirements of the various departments, Big Ass Solutions defined a shortlist of suitable systems and finally selected Elvis DAM.
Implementation / Integration
The implementation was carried out by WoodWing´s partner eMerge Consulting.
We use Elvis in our everyday workflow. We now track our files with higher efficiency and have been able to share files much faster across all departments of the company.

- All files are now saved and tagged in the DAM system with "final", "draft" or "Do not use" status.
- The design team keeps all design files in the DAM and links images, enabling easy repurposing of design files.
- Outside partners and photographers upload new photos directly to the DAM.

- The sales team uses Elvis to send custom collections through DAM links via email.
- The engineering team uses Elvis to maintain, update and share technical documents.
