WoodWing Software develops software solutions to enable an efficient, multi-channel publishing process. Our products are used by publishers of every type and size to manage and publish static, dynamic and interactive content to print, Web, social media, mobile and tablets.

Overview

WoodWing Software was founded in 2000. As the first company to fully commit to the Adobe InDesign and InCopy platform, WoodWing developed the award-winning line of Smart productivity and efficiency-enhancing plug-ins.

In order to meet customers’ demands, the focus shifted from the development of productivity tools toward a full-fledged publishing system to streamline the production process. Most recently, WoodWing has obtained worldwide fame as the industry leader in Digital Publishing, enabling companies to easily and efficiently publish content on tablet and mobile devices. In October 2012, WoodWing entered the digital asset management market.

WoodWing has regional sales companies in Europe, The Americas and Asia Pacific. We serve hundreds of renowned publishing customers through a network of more than 90 selected partners, who are active in more than 100 countries. WoodWing has a long-standing relationship with Adobe as a Technology Partner, and we maintain close relationships with a large number of other technology partners worldwide.

WoodWing is a privately owned company, with all founders actively engaged.

WoodWing´s philosophy

In today’s world, people seek information and entertainment by reading newspapers and magazines, visiting Web sites, joining social media communities, and downloading apps for their mobile phones and tablets. Modern readers expect content to be available through any of these channels at any time. These developments are profoundly changing the publishing industry.

WoodWing has a clear vision of this new style of publishing. Our product philosophy is based on the use of open, proven technologies. Our solution has an open architecture, enabling easy integration in any environment and with any third-party application.
