Privacy Policy


The Privacy Policy describes how WoodWing uses and handles End-User's information when using Services. In general, WoodWing and its trusted third parties will use all information to ensure proper delivery of Services and performance of obligations. In doing so, WoodWing will limit the collection and analysis of information to the extend this information is needed to perform and improve Services. WoodWing will never give or sell information or personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.


Your account information

WoodWing collects, and associates with End-User's account, information like name, email address, phone number(s), billing and payment data and physical address. Some of our services let you access your accounts and your information with other service providers.


Information on our Services

When you use our Services, we store, process and transmit your files (including photos, structured data, emails etc) and information related to these (for example: location tags in photos and other meta data).


Information on usage

We collect data from and about the use of Services. This information will be used to improve features and usability of Services.



We use technologies like cookies to provide, improve, protect and promote Services. Examples are remembering username for future visits, understanding how users interact with Services etc.


Sharing information

WoodWing may share information as discussed below. As stated before, we will never sell End-User's information to advertisers or other third parties.

WoodWing uses trusted third parties in providing, protecting and promoting Services. These third parties will be able to access your information, only to perform tasks on our behalf and in compliance with this Privacy Policy. Where necessary, information like name and email address will be disclosed to other users. Certain features let you make additional information available for other users.

Administrators of organizations that use our Services may have the ability to access, monitor and control End-User's account.

WoodWing may and will disclose End-User's information to third parties if we determine and decide that this is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person from death of serious injuries; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of WoodWing's or End-User's interests; or (d) protect WoodWing's property rights. However, we will ensure that End-User's data will receive the necessary legal protection regardless where it is stored. We will be transparent but prudent when receiving, scrutinizing and responding to government request for End-User's data.


Information management and Security

WoodWing employs procedural and technological measures, consistent with the demands of customer service. Such measures are reasonably designed to protect your personally identifiable information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Where reasonably practical, WoodWing uses SSL and other encryption, password protection, firewalls, internal restrictions and other security measures to help prevent unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information.

WoodWing only works with trusted third parties that have proven track record and systems in place to safeguard your data. This does not imply however, that WoodWing accepts any liability for any problems arising from using third party services.

WoodWing will retain information stored by End-Users via Services for as long as we need it to provide Services. Furthermore, there might be some latency in deleting information due to practical or legal constraints or obligations upon termination of Services or deleting accounts.

Information will be stored, processed and transferred to and on locations around the world, including those outside End-User's country. Information may also be stored locally on devices used to access Services. For technical and operational reasons, personal data can be transferred through servers in countries outside the European Union. By using our Services you acknowledge and agree that WoodWing transfers your personal data through servers that are possibly located outside the EU. In case of US-based third parties WoodWing preferably will work with parties listed under the US-EU Safe Harbor Framework.



If WoodWing is involved in a reorganization, merger, acquisition or sale of our assets, End-User's information may be transferred as part of these situations. WoodWing will notify End-User's if applicable to inform and clarify our choices in such an event.

WoodWing may and will revise this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will publish the most current version on it's website.


Dutch Notice and Take Down Code of Conduct

To ensure a prudent and proper procedure to process notifications and if necessary to remove Your Content from it's servers, WoodWing subscribes to the Dutch Notice and Take Down Code of Conduct ("Code") as published by the Platform Internet Security. More information about this procedure can be found here. Notifications or reports can be send to WoodWing may decide to follow a different procedure if it decides that this is necessary.

WoodWing has the right, to it's sole discretion, to define Your Content as unwanted, to take down Your Content and to delete End-User's account, without any obligation to reimburse subscription fees. WoodWing cannot be held accountable for any damages or claims that incur as a result of taking down Your Content.
