IMNederland benefits from better overview

IMNederland works for hospitals, international companies, web shops: organizations with complex financial credit management processes. To carry out these processes IMNederland developed its own software. However, every change in laws and regulations means new adjustments to the software and manuals. Quality coordinator Jan van de Ruitenbeek monitors the processes.

What is going on in your organization?

“We are unique because of the breadth of our services: from invoicing to legal collection. So we had no choice but to develop our own software. For example, our software indicates when the payment term has expired and a reminder should be sent out. Still not paid after that? Then our software automatically tells you what the next step is. From A to Z, the entire process is fully automated. However, the corresponding paper documentation was scattered across different folders and systems in the organization. Along with the complete documentation on our ISO 9001 certification. This made it difficult to be sure of the latest version as well as completeness.”

Why did you choose Scienta?

“Scienta is user-friendly and easy to manage. It makes our complex organization workable. Since everything is stored in the cloud, colleagues can work from anywhere at any time. With the certainty that they have the latest version of a document. It also helps with assigning tasks, as you can link people to specific documents. What I find particularly useful: finding descriptions of work you haven't done in a while. Scienta saves a lot of time!”

How do you like working with Scienta?

“Great – beyond expectation, actually! If there is something we call once and Scienta immediately looks for a solution. What I also find very important is that Scienta is a real knowledge partner. Together we spar about new ideas. I would definitely recommend Scienta. I recently attended a parents' meeting at my son's school – they also had a mountain of information. Do you already have plans for further implementation of Scienta?

“Our software manual is extensive, complex, and constantly evolving. We are still in the process of ‘scientizing’: a new verb we use here for entering information into Scienta and getting an overview.”
