What is the IIIF Conference & Showcase?
The 2026 IIIF Annual Conference & Showcase is hosted by the IIIF Consortium with support from the Dutch Digital Heritage Network. It brings together a broad group of professionals working with digital images and audiovisual collections, including repository managers, content curators, software developers, scholars, and administrators from museums, libraries, archives, and other cultural heritage organizations.
The event includes a free Showcase day on June 1 for newcomers and those interested in practical IIIF use cases, followed by conference sessions on June 2 and 3 and workshops and meetings on June 4.
Featured session: From Silos to Synergy
On June 1 at 14:30, WoodWing, together with Axiell, presents the session From Silos to Synergy: IIIF as the Next Step for Museum Image Collections.
During this presentation, Rob Jacobs (Axiell) and Sang Bui (WoodWing) will discuss how DAM, Collection Management Systems, and IIIF can work together to improve the management, presentation, and long-term accessibility of museum image collections.
