Success Story – 2-advise

I am intensively engaged in WoodWing Scienta 5 days a week. In my role as project manager for Novak, I work  2 days side by side with the editorial staff in order to keep the content up-to-date. The other 3 days, I’m working on updating the individual Scienta environments of my customers and when needed explain any content changes to them.

The challenge

The main challenge 2-advise has to deal with, is how to efficiently manage and keep up-to-date a substantial volume of content for a diverse client base. This includes tailoring the content to meet the unique needs of each of the 90 clients, requiring significant time investment and precise content management skills.

In the beginning, this content was made available as Microsoft Word files on a CD-ROM that was made available to subscribers. No one at a firm can throw documents away unintentionally and permanently lose them. There is always a safety net that allows you to restore documents. This is what’s called revision management. On top of that, even if it is not relevant for the Novak content, you could make your access management so refined that users would only see those pieces of content relevant to them, to further raise security levels and decrease chances of mistakes.”
